About me

Hello, I'm Rachael Forster, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist based in Amsterdam. My work is collaborative and solution focused, in a safe and respectful space where you can feel understood and empowered to move forward. My approach is structured, with a treatment plan tailored to you and your goal.

I provide practical tools, with highly effective resources and strategies to use in daily life. So that you can reconnect with your authentic self, build resilience and confidence to create impactful change.

What Issues I Help With

  • Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, waking up feeling unrested
  • Constant overthinking or racing thoughts, especially at night
  • Muscle tension, headaches, or a tight chest with no clear medical cause
  • Feeling irritable, on edge, or overwhelmed by everyday tasks
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or your emotions
  • Struggling to relax, even during downtime or holidays
  • Putting a lot of pressure on yourself to perform, achieve, or “hold it all together”
  • A harsh inner critic or constant self-doubt

Therapy Sessions

I offer in-person sessions at my therapy space based in Amsterdam or online. All sessions are held in English and are tailored for locals, international clients, and expats. Sessions are short-term, focused and are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes long.

Location

My therapy space is based in Amsterdam West with easy access via public transport.

Every Tuesday 10:30-11:30 for 6 weeks, starting June 2nd 2026.

Who is it for? Parents who find it difficult to get to in person meet-ups for whatever reason. 

Connect with other parents in a weekly online meet up who are in a similar position. You’re not alone. There’s a village for you too. 


Whether it’s recovering from birth, a health issue, post-partum anxiety making leaving the house a challenge, post-partum depression affecting your motivation or confidence, or you have a tricky time leaving the house due to your child’s needs. 


Meet other parents in a weekly online video call.

During the hour long call, I’ll guide introductions and provide a space for you to share your experiences.

  • A closed WhatsApp group

  • For everyone’s comfort, we ask everyone to have the camera turned on for the call 

• Life with kids can be chaotic. Need to take a break mid-call, arrive late or leave early? No problem, we get it

This is not a replacement for crisis, specialist care or therapy.

• A supportive meet-up space
