Hi, I’m Rachael, a therapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Hypnotherapy. I help people who are feeling overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, whether that’s showing up in sleep issues, constant overthinking, emotional disconnection, or the pressure to keep it all together.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in compassion. I provide a structured space where you can explore what's going on beneath the surface, develop meaningful tools, and start making changes that feel authentic and manageable. I believe that therapy should be empowering by giving you insights and, most importantly, the skills you can take into the rest of your life.

What matters most to me is creating a space where you feel truly heard, respected, and supported. We'll go at your pace, working together to help you reconnect with yourself, reduce the noise of stress and anxiety, and build the emotional resilience to move forward with more ease and clarity.
At the core of my work is a belief that therapy should be a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely seen. Not a place where you're trying to fix yourself, but where you're learning to understand and care for yourself more deeply.
Here are some of the guiding principles behind how I work:
I don’t believe anyone needs to be “fixed.” It’s completely human to struggle, and many of our difficulties are understandable responses to stress, pressure, past experiences, or unmet needs. Therapy is about exploring this with gentle curiosity and finding healthier, more compassionate ways to respond to what life throws at you.
Many people come to therapy with a harsh inner critic. I help you cultivate a kinder relationship with yourself, one where mistakes are seen as part of growth, not signs of failure. This shift is often where deep change begins.
When we stop fighting who we are and begin to understand ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment, we create the conditions for real, lasting change. You don’t have to become someone else, just more fully yourself.
We explore what matters most to you — not what you should care about, but what genuinely gives your life meaning. When you live in line with your values, even small changes can feel powerful and lasting.
You already have internal resources; therapy helps you recognise and build on them. Together, we'll find practical tools and strategies that align with your personality and values, so they're not just helpful in the moment, but long-term.
Ultimately, my role is to walk alongside you, offering structure, guidance, and support as you move toward feeling more in control, more connected, and more like yourself again.
As a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, I specialise in helping clients navigate through their issues using a compassionate, practical and forward-focused approach. Originally from the UK, I am a registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and adhere to high professional and ethical standards.
My approach is designed to support you in moving forward – gently, safely and effectively. Using a blend of CBT, ACT and clinical hypnotherapy, I offer a structured, yet flexible space to explore what is holding you back and build the tools for you to move toward greater clarity, calm and confidence. My work is positive and collaborative, using methods grounded in evidence, specifically tailored to you.
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy integrates hypnosis fully with CBT and related therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). CBH is highly collaborative and draws on the way we can use our imagination to challenge negative thoughts and feelings and to replace them willingly with more positive suggestions, quickly and effectively.
I believe in offering my clients more than insight with practical tools and effective strategies - It’s compassionate, collaborative, and thoughtfully structured, with a strong focus on meaningful, lasting change. We’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you, building confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself. One of the most rewarding parts of this work is witnessing clients gradually feel more in control, more at ease, and more like themselves again.
